In November of 2008, I opened my first Sexual Offender location in Latrobe, PA, Westmoreland County. Due to there being three treatment providers in Westmoreland County, I decided to contact a county who did not have Sexual Offender’s Treatment. In December of 2011, I contacted Washington County Adult Probation and set up a meeting to discuss the possibilities of starting a new Sexual Offender’s program in Washington County. At this point, not much was done and later in 2012, Washington County Adult Probation contacted me again to request services in Washington County. I decided to give this a chance and I opened a new Sexual Offender treatment facility for adults and children in February of 2013 in Washington County in Charleroi. In March of 2014, I moved my office from Charleroi to Washington County near the courthouse, 31 North Main Street, Office 102 to better serve the community.

 

I receive referrals from Washington County Adult Probation and Parole Office, Fayette County Adult Probation and Parole Office, PA Board of Probation and Parole Office, Washington County Children and Youth Services and Washington County Juvenile Probation.

 

My targeted population includes Adult Males, Developmentally Disabled Adults, Adult Females, Adolescent Males, Hearing Population Impaired, Adolescent Females, Pre-pubescent Males and Pre-pubescent Females. I am also contracted with Westmoreland County to provide Sexual Offender Treatment upon request from the court and/or attend the Westmoreland County jail to provide treatment upon request.

 

I facilitate process and educational Psychotherapy and Cognitive Behavioral groups and individual therapy that have been referred by Children and Youth Services, County and State Probation and Parole office to reintegrate offenders into the community and to maintain close supervision. The offenders must develop appropriate treatment plan goals with the help of the therapist. I currently had twenty-five adults in sexual offender’s treatment in Washington County and I have twenty adult sexual offenders in my Latrobe office. I also have two juvenile cases in Outpatient Sexual Offender’s Treatment.

 

I am an Approved Sexual Offender Provider in Pennsylvania since October of 2009, which follows the standards of the State when providing Sexual Offenders Treatment. I meet with Sexual Offender's Assessment Board annually to review my caseload of Sexually Violent Predators (SVPs). I am an Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers (ATSA) Clinical member since 2010. I am certified in the Abel Assessment and the Affinity Assessment to determine deviant sexual interest. I am certified and can administer the STATIC 99R, HARE/ PCL-R (Psychopathy Checklist) STABLE 2007 and ACUTE 2007. I am in the process of receiving my LCSW license which will assist me in being on more insurance panels for the fees for service. I received my License in Social Work in June of 2012. I am also a clinical member of the MARATSA of the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers since January of 2014. I also hope in the near future I will be able to participate in the Intensive Trauma Training to become a certified provider in trauma and be able to expand my services to non-offending individuals with family counseling.
